Welcome to Kurwongbah State School.
Our school is a co-educational primary school catering for the educational needs of students from preparatory year to year 6.
At Kurwongbah State School all students are encouraged to become responsible, confident, self-motivated and cooperative individuals who aspire to achieve their maximum potential within a safe and supportive learning environment.
We believe that children come to our school with individual needs, abilities and interests and they learn and develop at different rates and in different ways.
Our school values are honesty, respect, excellence, caring and resilience – and students are encouraged to apply these values in all aspects of their school lives.
Kurwongbah State School staff members are committed to the provision of a rigorous and inclusive curriculum that caters for the individual needs of all students. We encourage active communication between school and home and see strong and positive partnerships as being of key importance in the education of our students.
The students and staff of Kurwongbah State School are strongly supported by an active and involved parent body. We encourage all parents and carers to join in the life of our school as we work together to make Kurwongbah State School the best learning environment it can be for all students.
