YMCA Outside School Hours Care is based at Kurwongbah State School and welcomes all families of the Kurwongbah community.
YMCA Kurwongbah OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.
Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit - underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. we blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time Our Place' and Kurwongbah State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging and most of all FUN activities for your child whilst in our care.
YMCA Kurwongbah OSHC will operate from 6.00am to 8.45am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Team members escort preps to and from their classroom. Nutritious breakfasts and afternoon teas are served daily to enhance the wellbeing of our children. Attendance at YMCA Kurwongbah OSHC can be casual, part time, regular or emergency needs basis.
YMCA Kurwongbah OSHC also offers onsite Vacation Care (Holiday Club) to the Kurwongbah community. Holiday Club will operate from 6.00am to 6.00pm during all school holidays.
Detailed information about Holiday Club activities and associated procedures will be distributed to families leading up to the holiday period.

A meeting with the Coordinator is offered to all families upon enrolment, this is an excellent opportunity to discuss any concerns and assist in making your child's time with us enjoyable. All enrolling families will receive an Information Package that includes additional information and relevant forms.
