Kurwongbah Parents and Citizens Association (P & C)

 

Welcome to the Kurwongbah P&C Association! We are a very active and approachable group of parents who are passionate about assisting our school to provide the very best opportunities and resources available to our students.
All parents, staff and community members are eligible to join the P&C and have voting rights on decisions including: money expenditure, uniform prices, tuckshop menus, Vacation Care programs, and project developments. The P&C is your opportunity to have a voice within the school community and make a real difference to your child's school and education. 
Meetings are held at 7pm on the second Wednesday of each month during term. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Kurwongbah P&C operate four businesses within the school. The Tuckshop, Uniform Shop, Hall Hire and the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). 

We also run a number of subcommittees:

      • Tuckshop/Uniform Shop subcommittee
      • OSHC Subcommittee
      • Fundraising Subcommittee
      • Building Fund Subcommittee (Airconditioning).

In2017, the Kurwongbah P&C Association gifted over $200,000 in funding, resources and infrastructure to the school to:

    • Install air conditioning to 14 classrooms
    • Purchase a new ride on mower and trailer for the Groundsman
    • Funded the Sticks and Stones Incursion for all students
    • Provided funding for dinner and transport for our Senior Singers to attend the QLD Music Award Finals as guest choir
    • Purchase additional musical instruments
    • Plus lots more!
